LET THE AMERICANS GO FREE NOW.
Ludicrous if not barbarian, we give foreign assistance to the Egyptian military and they pretend to have no control over the Egyptian judiciary, hogwash. They are holding Sam LaHood and the other Americans as leverage chips. These captives are innocents and need to be released immediately. Release them.
We should suspend all aid to the Egyptian military, freeze their foreign accounts, and with hold further support until they let all Americans go free. They have to feel American pressure. No more tourism or buying of Egyptian products until they get the message, Free the Americans now!b This persecution of innocents gives a bad impression of Egypt. Free all these people now.

Well, the "revolution" isn't over yet, and we don't know where it is going.
Citizens think a revolution takes days. When the process can take decades and span generations.
The French Revolution spanning until the death of Napoleon was over 30 years long.
The Bolshevik Revolution was a failed dystopia and lasted 72 years until the Fall of the Soviet Union.
The Chinese Communist Revolution lasted 30 years of heartache and famine until the 1980 Deng Reforms. Now it has quietly reverted back to Capitalism.
The Cuban Revolution is still run by the Castro Brothers and comrades 60 years later. It is teetering economically for several generations. Castro is still a feverish radical revolutionary though he is 85 yo and incontinent.
The Iranian Revolution is still unstable and unsettled with war mongering and counter revolution protests 30 years out.
Sometimes it is the process that holds up progress. And sometimes it is an individual. Example: Mao in China, Hitler in Germany, or Qaadafi in Libya. Or Castro in Cuba. OR Kim il-Song in Korea.
Change occurs one funeral at a time.
Death can be a Great Revolution.
....If only Death could be made more convenient.
