Biography
Diana Geddes joined The Economist in 1973 and wrote for the United States section until 1974 when she left to join The Times, first as a general reporter, then as Education Correspondent and finally as Paris Correspondent. In 1990 she rejoined The Economist as Paris Correspondent and became Berlin Correspondent from 1999-2003. She then moved back in London as Legal Affairs Editor. Since January 2009 she has been based in Johannesburg as Southern Africa Correspondent.
