Yes, the scientists can definitely have the last laugh provided they are not criminals themselves, which a lot of them have proven to be so far.
The science of the mona lisa? The science of human sound? What's next clapping? I used to enjoy the science section in the Economist but in the last few months it has been very dissapointing.
