Wow nice! It's ok to feel proud of this, as a Brazilian, since we are talking mostly about white hats, right?
On a kind of unrelated note, but totally on topic, samba has nothing to do with maracas, the instrument the bee is showed playing. A pandeiro would be much more accurate. Google-image search it!
And please would you guys change it? It's kinda insulting to be, as a nation, considered a generic, unverified, latino stereotype.
It would have been of help to know if the laptop was running windows or linux, etc.
@Luke Glue I'm fretting about the instruments used by the bee, not the caranvalesque outfit. We're all about carnaval down here! =D
Right on, Phillip Thomas!
It would be a shame to sully The Econo’s innocence.
A 1970s clipping treasured in our kitchen dealt with international banks’ approval of Brazil:
Bankers Do The Cha-Cha-Cha.

Might as well be a Brazilian symbol, ABROAD, but not necessarily in its own country...
the Maracas (NOT Brazilian) does certainly not represent its rich musical history...
Berimbau, Pandeiro, Cavaquinho and others would suit better...
Beside Samba, there is also MPB and Bossa Nova, both internationally recognized as well...
but NOT rumba, salsa or whatever kind of "generic latin music"...
Good writing Phillip Thomas...
Unverified stereotype???
"It is recognized around the world as a symbol of Brazil and the Brazilian Carnival. Considered one of the most popular Brazilian cultural expressions, the samba has become an icon of Brazilian national identity.[1][2][3]"
